Description

The IR-55D is an ultra-miniature digital inductive covert earpiece with a push button controlled hard squelch, designed to fit in either ear canal. The device is designed to work with an inductive neck loop, loop system or SRC harness.

The digital range of inductive earpieces utilise sophisticated micro DSP digital electronics, incorporating a hard squelch algorithm to help reduce unwanted interference noise in the absence of an input signal.

The IR-55D uses a 10A zinc air battery. The battery tray functions as an on/off switch to increase the battery life. The device features a low battery alert, and will beep 3 times when the battery needs replacing. It features a generic fit, designed to fit comfortably either left or right ear over long durations. It also features a push-button which toggles the squelch on and off. This ensures clear and precise communication, even in the most critical of situations and environments.
