The IR-4D is a miniature digital inductive covert earpiece with a push button controlled hard squelch, available for either the right (standard) or left ear.
The digital range of inductive earpieces utilise sophisticated micro DSP digital electronics, incorporating a hard squelch algorithm to help reduce unwanted interference noise in the absence of an input signal.
The IR-4D uses a 10A zinc air battery. The battery tray functions as an on/off switch to increase the battery life. The device features a low battery alert, and will beep 3 times when the battery needs replacing. It features a generic fit, available for either the right (standard) or left ear. It also features a push-button which toggles the squelch on and off. This ensures clear and precise communication, even in the most critical of situations and environments.

These are superb alternatives to hearing aides great quality comfortable to wear and suitable for all situations
Order was placed on 5th July. Still waiting for delivery on 13th July. Therefore cannot comment on the quality of the product. I believe the delay in delivery is due to a problem with Royal Mail, which is being investigated, and not the supplier. Puretone are in contact with me to keep me updated on the expected delivery timing.
